Being an artist & a good teacher could mean two different things. But Dr. Gargi Banerjee is one such combination! 'One size doesn't fit all'- understanding this fact she guides her students based on their respective individualities, which in itself is a tough job! I have been learning vocal classical from her for 2.5 years now. Over this entire span, I have been able to not just learn the skill but to understand the art to its depth in the best possible manner. She also helped me in discovering, understanding & accepting my own challenges & in bringing the best out of it! She is not just an amazing artist but a great teacher & guide too! She teaches me hindi songs really nicely I have been learning music from her from around 4 years. At first I didn't know many hindi songs but now I have started listening as many as I can I love to learn music from her. Her teaching style is really well. During our classes she makes us play games related to music .
